NEW SYNCHRONOUS MOTORS OF "ORION" PROJECT |
The Company ORION-MOTOR LTD specializes on innovative projects in the field of electric drive systems, technology and automation of manufacture. We have new technical solutions on linear and rotary synchronous motors on permanent magnets, and also on coordinate systems, electric drives and the equipment for different branches of industry, including for machine-tool construction, electronics, metallurgy and electric transport. Motors and the coordinate mechanisms developed by our engineers, are successfully used in Germany (firms Walter, Volkswagen, LAT, LST), South Korea (Samsung), Taiwan (Hiwin), USA, Russia and Belarus (Ruchservomotor, Planar), and in other countries. The Development of New Generation Synchronous Motors Production. (Foundation of the Investment Offer) The purpose of the project. Creation of highly profitable production of actuating synchronous electric motors of new generation with the parameters considerably exceeding a today's world level, creation and production of the new systems of the electric direct drive. State of the problem. There are some basic producers of new linear and rotary synchronous electric motors for the direct drive: Baldor (Normag), Aerotech – USA, ETEL – Switzerland and USA, I N A, Siemens – Germany, Yaskawa – Japan, Ruchservomotor – Belarus. These motors are universal and are applied in the assembly and metal cutting equipment, in the installations of the laser processing of materials, in technological installations rotary type and in electric transport. Linear synchronous motors have peak thrusts in the range from 200 N up to 20000 N and maximal speed in a range from 2 m/s to 10 m/s. Maximal acceleration reaches the values of 250 m/s2. Rotary synchronous motors have the peak moment in a range from 200 N×m up to 25000 N×m and maximum speed of rotation up to 100 turns/s (6000 turns/min). The range of useful power of motors – from several watts to several hundred kilowatts. Prospects for the development. New synchronous motors of project "Orion" with the maximum theoretical acceleration up to 500-800 m/s2 allow to considerably improve parameters of equipment with the direct drive. The maximum specific power of these motors is evaluated at the level of 0.5-3 kW/kg. The basic specific parameters of synchronous motors of "Orion" project 1.5-2 times exceed today world’s level of analogs. The application of these synchronous motors leads to a significant increase in the basic parameters of equipment (productivity, speed, accuracy, reliability, resource). Economy and new motors. After price reduction of rare-earth permanent magnets the parameters/cost correlation for the synchronous motors approached the correlation for the motors of other types. The absence of mechanical transfers puts them out of competition in systems with a feedback. The mean market price of linear and angular coordinate axes with a direct drive is at a level 50 … 500 USD/kg and tends to decrease with growth in the scale of production. High profit and rapid return on invested capital are the most important characteristics for the new generation of electric drive on the synchronous motors. The profitability of the production of these engines in Germany reaches 30%, and in Belarus it could be ten times more. At present none of the manufacturers has the monopoly or leading position in this sector of market. The level of technological solutions on these synchronous motors corresponds to the stage of small-scale production (increase in the production of synchronous motors in Germany – from 8 up to 20 % per year). Most of technologies for the production of synchronous motors are used in enterprises producing other electric motors types. Cooperation with the producers of induction motors or use of their free production capacities is possible. Developing production to the level of small-scale and series output is assumed. The wide range of the equipment with linear synchronous motors caused the separation of the models of motors into different types, depending on technical characteristics and construction. In the present time 4-5 basic types of linear rotary motors are used in the world. All these motors are made with application of the same materials, technologies and the equipment, as in the production of usual actuating electric motors. In the "Orion" project it is intended to represent lines of synchronous motors in the range of power from several watts to hundreds kilowatts. Delivery time of such production does not usually exceed 3…6 months. Basic consumer groups. Even now we have proposals for the production of the prototypes of synchronous electric motors for NPO “Center” (Minsk), JSC “New Technologies” (S-Petersburg), tractive electric motors for trams (Ukraine), for the development of synchronous generator for the hydrogen (gas) internal combustion engines – from the Russian motor engineers. There is a fundamental agreement and the desire of the American wholesale merchants (dilers) of electric motors to give us orders for hundreds of synchronous motors and coordinate systems per year if we prove our ability to carry out such orders. The project head – Alexander Michalev, has 12 inventions and 7 publications in the scientific and technical magazines; developed more than 200 models of synchronous motors (small-scale and series production) and the technology of the synchronous motors production.
